My transformative mindset instructional design, introduced in 2022, is a contemporary approach that builds upon these foundational learning theories. Although this case study focused on parents with Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), it serves as an inclusive tool with valuable insights that can be applied to a wide range of educational contexts and learner needs. The model embodies several fundamental principles:

Transformation Through Critical Reflection: The transformative mindset instructional design recognizes the profound impact of critical reflection in education. It posits that new information can fundamentally change a learner's worldview when combined with life experiences and deep, introspective thinking. This transformative process transcends traditional learning and encourages learners to challenge their existing beliefs and thought patterns.

Transformative Mindset Instructional Design (TMID) is our journey to enhance education, focusing on effective strategies and empowering learners. The TMID case study interviewed parents in the Tranquil Parenting courses to find what worked well for them in the program. As we explore what works, we're also dedicated to addressing pressing societal issues. Beginning January 1st, 2023, Tranquil Parenting commits all proceeds for 540 days to research domestic violence in high-conflict court cases. We champion '5-4-0,' a potent sign language technique for immediate domestic violence awareness. Our quest blends educational empowerment with a commitment to creating a safer, more inclusive society. The below section is reserved to help keep focus on the societal issue of domestic violence.
