Purpose Statement

The purpose of Tranquil Parenting is to support the community's culture towards parents in traumatic situations, providing evidence of techniques that help more than hinder transitions to prevent cruelty to their children and continuous improvement. 

Values

 The core values of Tranquil Parenting's organizational values are detailed in the Mission, Vision, and Values statements. We are committed to the following:

Mission and Vision Statements

Mission Statement
Tranquil Parenting is devoted to being an instructional intervention for parents as they transform their styles into what they always wanted them to be. We provide methods of conflict resolution and coping techniques so that parents can prevent cruelty to their children during family transitions using the transformative mindset instructional design. 

Vision Statement
To diversely and inclusively instruct parents on creating unique solutions, changing negative societal processes and attitudes toward family trauma. 

Code of Ethics

  1.  Confidentiality :Our participants and other parties with whom we do business, entrust the organization with critical personal and company information. Our policy is that confidential information will not be disclosed to external parties or employees without a legal “need to know.” All inquiries from the media must be referred to the Executive Director. 
  2. Conflicts of Interest: Employees must avoid any relationship or activity that might impair, or even appear to impair, their ability to make objective and fair decisions when performing their jobs. In every case, all employees must maintain a position of unconflicted loyalty to the organization. In no case can the organization's property, information, or business opportunities be used for personal gain. Conflicts of interest could arise in the following circumstances: • Being employed by, or acting as a consultant to, a competitor or potential competitor, supplier or contractor, regardless of the nature of the employment, while employed with Tranquil Parenting; • Serving as a board member for an outside commercial company or organization; • Owning or having a substantial interest in a competitor, supplier or contractor; and • Accepting gifts, discounts, favors or services from a customer/potential customer, competitor or supplier, unless equally available to all company employees.


VIOLATION OF CODE OF CONDUCT AND ETHICAL PRACTICE: All employees are required to review the Code of Ethics annually. A violation of this Code of Ethics may result in disciplinary action, including suspension without pay or termination of employment.
